Stamatios Draziotis, Senior Director Equity Research, Eurobank Equities
Stamatis has 15 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry, having specialized as an equity analyst at UBS Investment Bank in London and, more recently, at Eurobank Equities in Athens. His equity research experience spans a variety of sectors, including consumer, hotels, retail, food manufacturing, HPC, gaming, airlines, tour operators, telecoms. He has a long track record of excellence, having been voted by international institutional investors as the Best Analyst for Greece Equity Research at 7 out of the last 8 Extel annual surveys, the key benchmark for excellence in the investment industry. Stamatis is a certified Chartered Financial Analyst and also a CFA Instructor, teaching equity valuation to CFA candidates since 2017. Stamatis holds an MSc in Management & Regulation of Risk from the London School of Economics, where he won the Emeritus Professors' Prize for top performance. He is also a graduate of the Financial and Banking Management Department of the University of Piraeus.
Dr. Vassilis Efthymiou, Investment Manager, Eurolife ERB Insurance SA
He is currently an Investment Manager at Eurolife ERB insurance company and is considered both a generalist in finance and a specialist in fixed-income investments, having 15 years professional experience in capital markets, portfolio management, investment banking, academia, corporate finance and assurance. He has been granted the globally recognized professional qualifications of Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®), Chartered Certified Accountants®, UK (ACCA®), Professional Risk Manager® (PRM®), and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst® (CAIA®). Vassilis has been an active mentor at both young entrepreneurship and undergraduate study level. In the past, he has assisted young visionary entrepreneurs explore further their business ideas, in the context of MITEF Greece startup competition, the so called “EPI.noo” student accelerator (NTUA), and the first Microfinance program in Greece (Action Finance Initiative, “AFI”). Moreover, Vassilis has taken a mentoring role, several times, at CFA Institute Research Challenge, a global university competition, whereby student teams perform the financial analysis of a listed corporation, which showcases in the form of a «roadshow» type presentation in front of an expert judge panel. His professional experience also comprises work at the European Reliance Asset Management (GR) as an Investment Analyst, and the European Investment Fund (EIF, EIB Group), where he participated in the Business Development team coordinating the implementation of JEREMIE fund of funds in Greece and Cyprus for the period 2011-2013. Before EIF, having started in 2007, Vassilis successfully pursued a full-time Ph.D. in Finance at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) following a 3-year associate tenure at PwC, Greece. He has completed AUEB’s MSc in Applied Economics & Finance with distinction, after graduating from the Accounting & Finance department of the London School of Economics (LSE), UK. During his doctoral studies, he was honored with a Valedictorian Scholarship from the Greek State Scholarships Foundation. Vassilis has instructed corporate finance & practice at AUEB’s MSc in Finance, while he has been teaching corporate finance to CFA candidates at the Hellenic Banks Institute since 2008. Since 2006, Vassilis has been an active volunteer of CFA Society Greece, which he has served with commitment for more than a decade either as a committee chair/member or board director. Finally, Vassilis is delighted to currently belong to the team of CFA Digest abstractors dedicated to drafting reviews of publications drawn from investments related academic literature. Olga Pavlopoulou-Lelaki, PhD, CFA
Dr. Pavlopoulou is a Financial Economist specialized in Financial Accounting currently serving as a Lecturer P.D. 407/80 at the Department of Accounting and Finance of Athens University of Economics and Business. She holds a PhD in Financial Accounting from Athens University of Economics and Business and a Master’s in Finance from the University of Cambridge. Dr. Pavlopoulou has professional experience in the banking sector as well as the corporate sector (focus on financial management and accounting policies), is a CFA Charterholder, Certified Accountant, and Certified Securities & Market Analyst (level d'). She started her career at the European Management program of HSBC Bank.
Andreas Souvleros has 12 years of experience in equity research , dealing room and wealth management with extensive knowledge of the domestic and international equities and fixed income market and excellent analytical, quantitative, financial modelling, valuation and portfolio management skills. His coverage comprises multiple sectors, including Retail (Fourlis), Industrials & Diversified Construction ( ElvalHalcor), Renewable Energy (Terna Energy, Eltech Anemos), Real-estate (Lamda Development , Grivalia). Utilities ( PPC ) Financials ( Greek Banks, Helex). Andreas started his career at HSBC in Athens in 2008, where he worked in various roles i.e Risk Manager, Derivatives and Fixed Income Trader and Wealth Manager . In 2014 he moved in Eurocorp as a Branch Manager and in 2018 he joined Euroxx as Research Analyst. Andreas holds an Msc in Finance & Investment from Brunel University and Bsc in Economics from University of Athens. He is also CFA chartholder and certified by the Hellenic Capital Markets Commission.
Dimitris is a senior investment and finance executive with more than fifteen years of professional experience in the capital markets and the shipping industry, having specialized in investment management. He is currently working in the Treasury & Investments department at Angelicoussis Group, a global maritime group of companies. He has previously worked extensively at Marmaras Navigation Ltd. as Financial & Investment Manager. He earned his BA in Financial and Banking Management at the University of Piraeus and his MSc in Economics & Finance at Warwick Business School. Dimitris holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) and has volunteered several times as an industry mentor and presentation judge for CFA Institute Research Challenge.

Dimitris Karydas is a Director of Regulatory Affairs at National Bank where he has been working since 2010. Initially, as a senior advisor, he has been involved in a number of strategic projects including ECB stress tests, equity capital increases, sale of subsidiary banks, non-performing loan portfolio sales. He was the Head of the Office of the Chief Executive Officer for the period July 2018 - July 2019. Between 2001 and 2010 he worked in London initially as a strategy consultant at PA Consulting and PwC advising international companies on business strategy, corporate valuation and mergers and acquisitions. Subsequently, he worked for Citigroup as an equity research analyst initially on Valuation & Accounting and later covering Metal & Mining companies. He has been voted fifth best equity research analyst in Europe on Valuation & Accounting. Dimitris Karydas is a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA Charterholder) in the USA. He was Chairman of the Board of Directors of CFA Society Greece in the period 2013 - 2017. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University and a Masters Degree with distinction in Finance from Cass Business School.
